200 series cameras

Only 4 years after the 100 series rolled out, Polaroid introduced their 200 series cameras. Numbering started with the model 210 and jumped by 10 for each model with more features. This allowed Polaroid to sneak in a special markets version of a particular camera, and still keep it in line with the numbering scheme which defined cameras with a lower number as having fewer features.

Although these cameras seem quite similar to 100 series cameras, you will notice that Polaroid distributed the feature set differently over these different models. For instance, most 200 series cameras came with the extra aperture setting that only model 100 had. And only the top two models had metal cases with tripod sockets.

Apart from changing the numbering system and distributing their feature set differently, the only new feature they introduced to their camera line was the Zeiss Ikon combination rangefinder/viewfinder in the model 250.
